"Then, I turned around and walked to my room and closed my door and put my head under my pillow and let the quiet put things where they are supposed to be." (page 28)
- I believe that this quote is trying to apply that Charlie goes to silence when looking for a safe place, and that silence will solve his problems. And that maybe the quiet is supost to be put everything back together in his head... "where they are supposed to be."
“Not everyone has a sob story, Charlie, and even if they do, it's no excuse." (page 31)
- This quote states that even is someone doesn't have a hard life, it doesn't mean you can do mean things to that person. These scenarios usually end up becoming the starts of bully rages. This is because people might find it unfair that another person has a better life, so people try to make the other person miserable, so they know how it feels to have a hard life.
"I just think it's bad when a boy looks at a girl and thinks that the way he sees her is better than she actually is. And I think it's bad when the most honest way a boy can look at a girl is through a camera." (page 48-49)
- This quote is very interesting to me because a lot of people see certain people a lot better than they actually are. But I dont understand why Charlie thinks that's a bad thing. A lot of girls like to be treated as if they better than they actually are because it makes them feel good about themselves, and I see no hard in that. I also think that Charlie might be a little jealous, because some other guy is taking pictures of Sam.
